Dr. Mohammed Albakri is a distinguished academic and senior fellow of higher education (SFHEA) with over a decade of experience in information systems and digital transformation. His impactful contributions to teaching and research span multiple institutions, including the University of Manchester, the University of Bolton, and, most recently, the University of Salford. Dr. Albakri's teaching and research, which have been recognised by the UK Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and the Research Excellence Framework (REF), include digital transformation, sociotechnical systems, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and systems thinking, with an emphasis on innovation and strategy. His role as a "significant research responsibility" (SRR) and teaching leader, as well as his ability to secure research funding and give talks and webinars on contemporary digital transformation issues, has recently led to an invitation to speak at the Vision's digital 2040 conference in Oman.
